Our trade-in program enables paddlers to step up to higher performance boats as their skill level and passion for paddling grows.

The Kansas City Paddler Instruction program offers canoe/kayak clinics for adults and families.  Our Day on the Water program is designed to meet the needs of groups seeking canoe/kayak instruction.

In a continuing effort to promote paddlesports in the central midwest region, Kansas City Paddler is pleased to again sponsor the recreational race series for 2008.

Lynn Lyon has a particular passion for introducing children and youth to paddling as a means of fostering a sense of independence and enhanced self esteem in preparation for the "River of Life."

Lynn has established a paddlesports program for urban youth in the greater Kansas City are which provides an opportunity for these young people to experience the joy and support of being connected to nature, as well as experience a sense of confidence and pride as they start to explore new horizons for their lives.

The Paddlesports Industry Association awarded Lynn Lyon the 2007Anthony Gusic Award in recognition of his ongoing efforts to involve children and youth in paddlesports as well as the continued commitment of Kansas City Paddler in supporting paddlesports in the Central Midwest Region.
